HOW TO GET THERE

The Adventure Forest is within walking distance of the Treetop Walk Saarschleife. You will find the entrance right across from the Treetop Walk exit, next to our shop. Both attractions are easy to reach by car or coach. Arrival by public transport is also available.

Car parking at the Adventure Forest Saarschleife

On site you will find the chargeable car parks P1 in the Cloefstraße and P2 in the Mius-Kiefer-Straße.

Fee-based parking P1 and P2 (directly at the Adventure Forest)

Parking fees for cars (charged by the hour):

Up to 2 hours 1,50 €
Up to 4 hours 3,00 €
Up to 6 hours 4,50 €
Daily ticket 6,00 €
Bus parking is located on P1 (directly at the Treetop Walk) for a fee.

Arriving as a group by coach?

There are reserved parking spaces for coaches.

Day ticket 10,00 €

The parking fee will be charged at the parking ticket machine when you leave. A printed receipt for the coach parking fee is available on demand.

Public transport

Arrival by public transport

Travelling to the Adventure Forest by bus and train

It is possible to travel to Orscholz by public transport from Mondays to Fridays (and to a limited extent at weekends) by taking bus line 250 from Merzig. The entrance to the Adventure Forest is about 750 metres from the “Reha-Klinik” bus station.

Can I bring my dog to the Adventure Forest?

Dogs* and animals of all kinds are unfortunately not permitted in our Adventure Forest.

Safety aspects also play a part in addition to hygiene aspects. The majority of responsible owners keep a close eye on their animals, but dogs can still show unexpected social behaviour towards strangers and also towards other animals of their own species.

*Exception: disabled companion dogs and care assistance dogs.

Adjacent to the adventure forest, our ‘Futterkrippe’ snack bar serves sausages, chips, loaded fries, sweet treats and drinks.

You are also welcome to bring your own picnic.

How long takes a visit?

How long takes a visit?

A visit to the Adventure Forest is an ideal day trip for the whole family. In order to be able to fully play and romp, you should plan for a few hours up to a whole day. If you want to leave the area in between, simply get a stamp at the stamp station at the exit – this way you can use the same ticket all day long, even with breaks.
