FAQs on arrival, pricing and your stay at Adventure Forest Alsace

There is a kiosk at the entrance to the adventure forest offering snacks, ice cream and drinks. But feel free to bring your own picnic. Benches and tables throughout the whole area, as well as the terrace, are set up so you have an eye on each piece of playground equipment.

The adventure playground at the Drachenbronn Treetop Walk is an ideal one-day trip for the entire family. We recommend that you plan a few hours or even a whole day for your visit.

The shuttle train connects the car park and the entrance of the Treetop Walk every day during opening hours. There is no extra stop for the Adventure Forest, as the Adventure Forest Alsace is located directly at the car park and can be accessed on foot.

We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs* and all kinds of pets are unfortunately not allowed to enter the Adventure Forest.

Besides the hygiene issue, the safety aspect for the children plays a major role in the prohibition of animals. Most responsible owners keep a close eye on their animals, but nevertheless dogs can show unexpected social behaviour towards strangers and also towards members of their own species.

*Exception: disabled companion dogs and care assistance dogs.

We always try to keep our pricing as moderate as possible so that as many people as possible have the opportunity to visit. Nevertheless, we are still a private company that does not receive any financial support for the operation and maintenance of the Adventure Forest, and we have to calculate our prices in an economically reasonable way.

We do offer discounted fees for families, groups and those with annual pass.. The charges for a visit to the Abenteuerwald Elsass are comparable to other leisure activities, such as climbing parks or a visit to the cinema.

In addition, the Adventure Forest is no average playground. This is what marks a difference:

• Its pure size: 14000 square metres almost equals the floor space of the Eiffel Tower.
• Participate instead of watching: The playground equipment is specially built so that parents can join in. This is where childhood dreams come true – even if childhood might actually have been a while ago – and new family bonds are established.
• Unique play equipment: Our playing and learning stations have been designed and built especially for the Adventure Forest Alsace. Wherever possible, it is made of wood. This way they adapt ideally to the surrounding forest.
• The concept: learning through fun. In addition to plenty of space to enjoy yourself, learning stations, such as animal and plant memories, offer insights into the region’s nature, which is important to protect, while playing.

During the season, the Adventure Forest Alsace is also open when rainy.

Only in the event of thunderstorms, hail or storms it is our responsibility to close the adventure forest for safety reasons. If we have to close the forest playground at short notice, we will announce it here on the website as well as on Facebook and Instagram. We recommend you check again the day of your visit before moving out!

Have you accidentally deleted or lost your order confirmation? Simply send us an e-mail to onlineticket@treetop-walks.com. We will be happy to send you the tickets again.

Online tickets are transferable within the same ticket category (children over 3 years, family ticket). However, any commercial resale is strictly prohibited. As a matter of fact, each e-ticket can only be used once.

No refund is possible for online tickets. Please note that the day-dated e-ticket will expire if you do not redeem it on the reserved date!

An exchange to another date is possible. Please write an E-mail to onlineticket@treetop-walks.com and let us know your order number and your new visit date.

Our online tickets are valid all day on the chosen day of the visit. Please also be aware of the opening hours at the Adventure Forest Alsace.

Unfortunately, free tickets cannot be credited in the ticket shop, but only be converted into an admission ticket directly at the entrance to the treetop walk Alsace.

We do offer gift vouchers directly in the online ticket shop.

This is not required. For the sake of the environment, you can also show your ticket on your smartphone at the terminal. Please download the ticket to avoid problems in case of poor mobile phone reception.

You can purchase tickets directly at the entrance or in our online ticket shop. If you decide to buy your ticket online, you may save yourself longer queues at the entrance.
