Question about your visit
Do you have a toilet on the trail?
There is unfortunately no toilet directly on the trail. We recommend that prior to visiting the Treetop Walk you use the toilet in our main building so that you can enjoy the trail without any problems and experience it as much as possible.
Can we take a pram (or wheelchair) with us?
Yes. The entire length of the trail is accessible to wheelchairs.
Is it possible to enter the Treetop Walk with a dog?
Because of safety and hygiene reasons, dogs are not allowed to enter the Treetop Walk. In order you don’t have to leave your animal friend at home, however, we provide clean, lockable boxes free of charge at the entrance, where your pet can relax and wait for you.
We plan to travel together with our grandmother and we are not quite sure if she will be able to cover the whole distance by walking. Can I rent a wheelchair?
Yes. We do have 2 wheelchairs for rent free of charge right at the ticket office.
Is it possible to enter with an electric wheelchair?
Yes, it is.
Are you open during the winter season?
Yes, we are. Apart from Christmas Eve, the trail is open all year round – 364 days a year
Payment methods and tickets
Is it possible to use a voucher or benefit card?
We do accept Sodexo benefit cards at the Treetop Walk, in particular the Flexi Pass CARD and Multi Pass CARD as well as the Benefit Plus cards. It is also possible to pay cash using CZK or Euros as well as by credit card.
Do we have to book tickets in advance?
No, you don’t have to. Tickets can always be purchased on site. On busy days, we recommend using our e-ticket shop, where you can buy tickets online. This helps you to avoid queues at the entrance
Is it possible to purchase tickets online?
Yes, you can buy tickets online at our E-shop – payment by credit card.
Is it possible to pay in euros / zł?
The answer is yes and no. Apart from Czech crowns, we only accept euros. That said, it is possible to pay the entrance fee by credit card.
Can we pay the entrance fee with credit card?
Yes, you can pay by credit card directly at the ticket office. You can also use your card to pay in the restaurant and souvenier shop.
Restaurant and Catering
Is there a restaurant at the site?
Yes, you can visit our self-service restaurant V Korunách (“Restaurant in the Treetops”) inside the Treetop Walk’s main building. In summer we also have an outdoor snack bar on offer.
Do you accept food vouchers at the restaurant?
Unfortunately, we do not accept meal vouchers. You can pay by cash in CZK, EUR or by credit card.
Arrival and Parking
How to reach us?
You can reach the Treetop Walk Krkonoše by coach or car. By train you can travel to Svoboda nad Úpou, where you can switch to a bus.
Is a parking fee charged?
There is a parking fee of CZK 100, which is payable in cash or by credit card. If you face any problems, please contact the operator (Megaplus, s.r.o.) directly at: +420736751909.
Is there parking on site?
Yes. There is a large, fully accessible car park right next to the Treetop Walk Krkonoše. If it is fully packed, you can use the central car park in Janské Lázně, from where there is a 1-kilometre hiking trail leading directly to theTreetop Walk.
