Restaurant Chez Emile
Woodland air leaves you hungry! Located directly at the exit of the Treetop Walk, you can enjoy local French and Alsatian cuisine, snacks, cakes and ice cream at restaurant Chez Emile or on its sun terrace.
Slide
Walk to the top for a slide downwards: A 75-metre tunnel slide awaits your speedy downhill run in the trail’s lookout tower – if you dare to do so!
Shuttle train
Your adventure in the forest already starts when you arrive: Our free of charge shuttle train will take you from the car park to the entrance of the Treetop Walk. The shuttle train runs regularly and, thanks to the beautiful nature around the route, is an amazing add-on not only for our young visitors!
Huge forest playground
The Adventure Forest Alsace, located directly next to the Treetop Walk car park, makes childhood dreams come true. On 14000 square metres parents are invited to play together with their children on a giant trampoline, zip lines and climbing castles.

No matter whether it’s a one-day trip or a holiday you spent in the Alsace, the nature park Northern Vosges and its region have a lot to offer with museums, old military installations, framework towns, vineyards and delicious food.

Can I also visit the Treetop Walk on a rainy day?
Can I also visit the Treetop Walk on a rainy day?
In case of rain the trail is open and in case of snowfall the trail will be cleared for visitors to walk on.
We only reserve the right to close the trail for safety reasons in the case of thunderstorms, hail, storms and ice.
If we do have to close the trail at short notice, we will announce it here on the website and on our social media channels Facebook and Instagram. We recommend to check back on the day of your visit before heading out!
Please be aware that the opening hours for the slide are different from those for the Treetop Walk.

Is the Treetop Walk wheelchair accessible or pram-friendly?
Is the Treetop Walk wheelchair accessible or pram-friendly?
The Treetop Walk Alsace including its lookout tower are designed to be low-barrier.
With a maximum gradient of 6%, the trail is also easily accessible for wheelchair users or families with prams.
Rest areas without ascents offer frequent opportunities to take a break.
We recommend that people with a disabled pass (B) buy their ticket on site at the ticket office. We offer a discounted ticket and free admission for the accompanying person on presentation of the ID.

Can I take my dog with me to the Treetop Walk Alsace?
Dogs* and all kinds of animals are unfortunately not allowed along the trail or inside the shuttle train.
In both cases, the hygiene aspect and the safety aspect (for animals and humans) play a major role. The majority of responsible owners keep a close eye on their animal, nevertheless dogs can show unexpected social behaviour towards strangers and also towards their fellow species. Fear of heights in dogs can also trigger flight behaviour. Unfortunately, the limited width of the path and the shuttle train do not offer any possibilities of retreat or escape for animals or for people with a fear of these.
