Is the Adventure Forest open during bad weather?

Is the Adventure Forest open during bad weather?

During the season, the Adventure Forest on the Sommerberg is also open in case of rain.

We only reserve the authority to close the adventure forest for safety reasons in the event of thunderstorms, hail or storms. If we will have to do so at short notice, we will inform you on our website as well as on Facebook and Instagram. We recommend checking again on the day of your visit before you leave!

Do you have any food and drink on offer at the Adventure Forest Sommerberg?

Our Futterkrippe kiosk at the entrance to the Adventure Forest offers light meals, ice cream and refreshments. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic. We have placed the seating in a way that you can keep an eye on the playground equipment at all times.

Can I bring my dog to the Adventure Forest Sommerberg?

We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs* and any kind of animals are unfortunately not allowed inside the Adventure Forest.

Alongside the hygiene aspect, the safety aspect for the children plays a major role in the prohibition of animals. Most responsible owners keep a close eye on their animals, but dogs can still show unexpected social behaviour towards strangers and also towards members of their own species.

*Exception: disabled companion dogs and care assistance dogs.
