As the sun slowly dips below the horizon and golden evening light settles over the treetops, we’ll gather under the stars to listen to one of the most recognizable voices of the Slovenian music scene – Maja Keuc.

“To me, the beauty of life is like the head of a sunflower – always turning toward the sun, seeking light that symbolizes hope, love, and faith in life.”

This vital energy also shines through Maja Keuc, one of Slovenia’s most respected vocalists, who has reached the very top of the music scene. After Slovenia’s remarkable success at Eurovision, Maja decided to craft her next musical story in her homeland. The relaxed and creative environment of her roots inspired her to explore songwriting in Slovene. After years abroad, she once again felt the call of home.

Her new album, titled Sunčnice (Sunflowers), reveals her playful lightness, positive energy, and deep reflection, shaped by her rich life experience. The lyrics and melodies intertwine like a dance between light and shadow, ease and depth. The songs carry an anthemic spirit, and the influence of her time abroad is undeniable – you might even catch a hint of Nordic electronic flair.
