Fall in the Laurentians is a fleeting yet spectacular sight… and from the tower at the Sentier des Cimes, it becomes simply unforgettable. The highlight, of course, is the view: a sea of reds, golds, and oranges stretching as far as the eye can see.

🍁 Updates on the changing colors will resume at the start of the 2026 fall season.

During the week, you can enjoy the calm and serenity of the breathtaking landscapes. On weekends, the site comes alive with musicians, a welcoming terrace, outdoor fires, wooden games, and a festive atmosphere.

Choose your moment of wonder

Each visit to The Color Odyssey is unique. Some choose to arrive early in the morning to enjoy the gentle start of the day, as the soft light gradually reveals the mountains in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Others prefer the vibrant weekend energy, with live music, terrace fires, and a festive mood that invites you to linger.

On weekdays, the experience is lived in tranquility, with breathtaking landscapes and tickets offered at a reduced rate. On weekends, to enjoy the lively atmosphere, reservations are required as capacity is limited.

No matter when you come, the beauty, the sense of wonder, and the signature “wow” that make Sentier des cimes so special will always be there.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit, please also note that no annual passes are sold on weekends during The Color Odyssey.

During the Odyssey of Colors, the Sentier des Cimes welcomes you starting at 8 am on Saturdays and Sundays so you can fully enjoy the beauty of autumn mornings.

At the top of the tower, the morning light gradually reveals the forest and its shades of red, gold, and orange stretching as far as the eye can see. In this peaceful atmosphere, before the hustle and bustle of the day begins, nature reveals itself in all its splendor.

A calm, bright, and soothing moment… a gentle experience to start your day off right.

even in the rain

The magic of The Color Odyssey doesn’t disappear when the clouds roll in—quite the opposite! In the rain, the forest takes on a unique atmosphere: colors become deeper, leaves glisten, and the fresh air fills the trails with an incomparable softness.

So, if it rains on the day of your visit, put on your raincoat and comfortable shoes… and let nature surprise you. Autumn, even in the rain, keeps all its beauty!

Practical information for a successful visit

To ensure an exceptional experience for all our visitors, reservations are required on weekends during the Color Odyssey.

Please note:

Nature and Discovery annual passes do not grant access on weekends during this period.

Only the Prestige pass grants access on weekends.

Gift tickets are not valid on Color Weekends.

No FADOQ discounts are applicable on Color Weekends.

On busy weekends, you will be asked to use our overflow parking and shuttle service.

If you are visiting us from another region, don’t hesitate to check our Facebook page for updates on the progression of the fall colors: they change quickly, and the landscape can look very different from one valley to another.

Remember to allow extra travel time. The Laurentians are very popular in autumn, and the drive may take longer than expected. Arriving early is also the secret to a more relaxed visit.
