A magical night walk in the heart of the Laurentian forest

New for the 2025–2026 winter season, Lumagica brings a gentle luminous glow to the Sentier des cimes. At nightfall, the walkway transforms into an illuminated winter promenade, unique in Québec and accessible to all — families with strollers, visitors using wheelchairs, and anyone looking to enjoy a magical moment outdoors.

The forest, the snow and the soft glow of the light sculptures create a warm and enchanting atmosphere. A simple, beautiful and soothing experience that highlights the surrounding nature and invites visitors of all ages to enjoy winter in a different way — by walking among the treetops in a beautifully lit winter setting!

Once upon a time, there was a little dreamer squirrel named Émile. Every winter, he watched the forest fall asleep beneath the snow—enchanted, yet feeling a little lonely when night arrived. One frosty night, he looked up at the stars and made a wish: that the Treetop Walk would shine bright and become a magical world filled with friends and wonders. Lumagica heard his call and transformed the forest into a kingdom of light… a place you are invited to explore this winter.

In partnership with MK Illumination Canada, a global leader in the creation of themed and lighted installations, Lumagica comes to life at Sentier des cimes.

Inspired by the site’s natural beauty, the lighting design by MK Illumination offers an immersive and poetic journey, where each installation enhances the forest’s brilliance without disturbing its tranquility. The treetop walk becomes a peaceful, light-filled promenade, inviting visitors to slow down, reflect, and be amazed.
